Eisweiher / Fischbach-Nürnberg-Germany

The Eisweiher (Ice Pond) in Nuremberg is a small reservoir in the Fischbach
district, located on the edge of the Lorenzer Reichswald forest.
It often freezes over during the winter months and was formerly
a source of ice blocks used to cool beer. Today,
it is a popular local recreation area and a starting point for various hikes
and bike tours.
