The grimdark reality of our economic system is spun into a brilliant fantasy novel by ML Wang called Blood Over Bright Haven. I draw parallels to the Bible and imperialism. I link my two previous episodes on RF Kuang's Babel and Poppy War Trilogy, which are grimdark history written with imagination and genius.
