Muzzle Brake vs Suppressor — Which One’s Better?

Both have their place on the range or in the field

Muzzle Brake – Pros:
• Reduces recoil for faster follow-up shots
• Keeps your sights on target
• Great for competition and precision shooting

Muzzle Brake – Cons:
• LOUD. Like, ear-splitting loud.
• Increased side blast — not friendly to people next to you

Suppressor – Pros:
• Cuts down noise and muzzle flash
• Improves recoil control a bit
• Better for hunting, training, and protecting your hearing

Suppressor – Cons:
• Adds length and weight to your setup
• Can heat up quickly
• Legal hoops depending on where you live

At the end of the day — it’s all about purpose and preference.
