The Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) presents itself as the guardian of “true Catholicity”. Archbishop Lefebvre’s illicit consecrations, forbidden by Pope Pius XII, left a legacy of sacraments celebrated without jurisdiction, marriages and confessions in doubt.

The SSPX’s claims are false, and only corrode Catholic unity.
