Exploring Lake Navarino and beyond. Day 4 (Dwellingup, Pinjarra, Rockingham)

A peaceful yet mysterious road trip through Western Australia. We started the day at Nanga Townsite Campground in Lane Poole Reserve (Dwellingup), surrounded by forest and morning mist. Then we explored the quiet railway station and abandoned trains nearby: old sheds, rusted wagons, and forgotten tracks.

Next stop: Pinjarra, where we walked along the river park, crossed the bridge, and discovered heritage houses and another eerie spot with broken trains and a creepy scarecrow.

Later, we reached Point Peron in Rockingham, home to two World War II bunkers said to be haunted, with stunning ocean views. Nearby, we found a lookout and a small limestone cave with tiny stalactites and stalagmites.

As night fell, we drove past the industrial area and filmed Perth’s glowing skyline. The video ends calmly, with Chiqui enjoying her evening walk and falling asleep after a long day.
