Twitching Jigs for Coho Salmon in FAST Water

In this episode, I will show how I twitch jigs for Coho Salmon in fast moving waters. The river in this area is moving to fast to float soft beads, or to float fish with roe. I am casting under the branches of overhanging trees that the coho will use for cover. I'm using a 3/8oz jig since the water is no deeper than 5ft. If you use too light of a jig, it won't get down in to the strike zone. On the flip side, if you use too heavy of a jig, you'll end up foul hooking chum salmon that are hanging out on the bottom. I did manage to catch a nice hatchery Coho Salmon using this technique.
