Yan Ma

Yan Ma is a Toronto-based filmmaker and animation director, passionate about narrative and documentary films that speak to significant social issues in our world today.

His acclaimed film UP WE SOAR participated in over 20 festivals around the world, won the Best Feature Award in the Los Angeles Animation Festival (2020), the Special Jury Award in the Houston International Film Festival (2021).
