John Lee Hooker – Hooked On The Blues (1979)

You might hear some familiar licks that Hooker originated, and were later appropriated by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, ZZ Top, and Jimi Hendrix (remember his opener to Catfish Blues). (Rumble does not have a Blues music category, so I list this under Pop.)
