GOP Needs A New Driver 20251105

There are two types of conservative social media accounts after last night's abject disaster.

One group brushes it off because Democrats turned out in two blue states that Trump didn't win anyway, and Trump is still ten steps ahead and 4D chess and whatnot.

I'm in the second group. We realize that without Trump at the top of the ticket, we have absolutely nothing to drive turnout to the polls. Scott Presler nearly killed himself for the better part of this year preparing for these elections, Charlie Kirk got murdered less than two months ago, and yet still conservatives stayed home.

Trump will never be at the top of the ticket again. As far as I can tell, his endorsements don't mean shit in a general election anymore. If we're ever going to return this country from the brink of communism, we have to actually deliver something, and develop our own system that isn't just mass campaigns for "gimme money."

The GOP as a party will die before the end of the decade if we don't rectify this problem right now.
