Ruger LCP Max Readydot: Is it worth it?

Ruger introduced a new version of the LCP Max with a Readydot attached. This set up looks really cool and I like how it follows the contours of the slide. My concern is that is it necessary to put a reddot on a pocket pistol? With the issues I have had with the Readydot lineup is this going to have the same issues? Let me know in the comments what your thoughts are.
