Every U.S. aircraft has NASA technology on board, which has made flight safer, quieter and more fuel efficient. Today, NASA is investing in Electrified Aircraft Propulsion research as part of its portfolio to improve the fuel efficiency, emissions and noise levels in commercial transport aircraft. And, we’re building our first-ever all-electric X-plane, the X-57 Maxwell.
In this presentation from our 2019 Evening with the Stars event, NASA engineer David Avanesian explains our strategy to work with industry partners and continue transforming aviation for benefits worldwide.
