5 Arrested After Woman Found Handcuffed, Chained in Texas Backyard

Five suspects, several of them family members, are accused of holding a woman captive outside an Austin home, where police say she was handcuffed to a metal stand, starved, and shot with a BB gun. The alleged ringleader, 51-year-old Michelle Garcia, reportedly told police she restrained the woman because of her behavior, while others in the family claimed the victim consented. All five suspects now face multiple felony charges, including aggravated kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, and injury to a disabled person, with bonds set at $300,000 each.
