The Villages New Builds: 7 Days After Closing Must Know Information

Buying a new build in The Villages? The First 7 Days after closing in your new home in The Villages is an important step when getting initial repairs done. The Villages gives you a website link that you will enter all the repairs on the house you believe need to be fixed. The Villages will then send a contractor to the house, possibly take a picture to get it approved, and hopefully do the repair within a week or two. The first 7 days are a must do process you should not miss. Check your concrete, windows, sinks, screens, sinks, faucets, drawers, caulk and more and make sure to note it on your submission. I don't recommend buying a new build "sight unseen" in The Villages because you will miss this step in the buying process if you are not in town. Also remember, any dead lawn or plants have a 30 day window after closing. Plus, don't forget to setup your initial irrigation training session which must be done within 30 days after closing.
