The Benben, the False Phallus & Why Peter Sank

The Egyptian Benben stone rose from the waters of Nun as the first reflection of awareness — Osiris emerging from Isis, the still ground. But when that reflection was lifted into the sky as an obelisk, it became the false phallus: Set’s imagination turned upward into display, casting shadows and carving names in time.

The same pattern reappears when Jesus walks on water and Peter, the Rock, tries to follow. Peter looks at the wind and sinks — the reflective error. Orpheus looks back and loses Eurydice. Each story encodes the same moment when reflection leaves stillness to check itself.

To reverse it, drop attention to the solar plexus — the Holy Grail seat — where the Benben rests again on the ground of Isis and reflection returns to presence.
