Examining the doctrine of the Trinity in John 5

My guest rejects the Trinity and believes that the spirit of Jesus and the Holy Spirit are the same thing, the Spirit of God, which is separate from the Father.

I disagree. I am a Trinitarian.

We'll see if we can make sense of this.

But more importantly, has my guest believed the Gospel? I hope we get to that, because he'll never understand or accept truths about God in his flesh. He needs to be born again to be able to understand, and I'm starting to suspect he is not saved.
