Winsome Earle-Sears: I'm a Christian first, and a Republican second

Winsome Earle-Sears acknowledged her defeat with a message of strength and faith. She said that her opponent, Abigail, presented herself as a moderate and expressed hope that she will govern that way, uniting Virginians.

However, she made it clear that she does not consider this a personal defeat: “I am a Christian first and a Republican second, because no political party has given its life for me.”

Earle-Sears affirmed that her voice and that of her supporters will not be lost. “Virginia is not a radical left state,” she warned, promising to hold accountable anyone who tries to impose a progressive ideology on the state.
