October 2025 Was a DISASTER at the Box Office! Can Hollywood Recover?

Hollywood is in deep trouble. Now that the calendar has rolled over to a new month, it has been determined that October 2025 was the worst performance at the box office since October 1997, but if you adjust for inflation, it could have been the worst month ever.

The Smashing Machine, Tron: Ares, One Battle After Another, coupled with the worst weekend of the year to close out the month and there is cause for concern moving forward. Sure, Avatar: Fire and Ash will make money, but can anything stop the cinematic freefall? Can they figure out why they are in this predicament? Do they even care?
