Will This Change Be Good? Testing Berger 109 LRHT!!

Let's see if this will be a good change or not! I have decided to try out the Berger 109 Long Range Hybrid Target projectiles. Finally, lol.
I have been told that these are a superior projectile from several people and forums.
I have been using the Hornady 108 ELD-M bullets in my 6 Creedmoor rifle for PRS matches. They have been mostly really good and I have had good luck with them.
Until the last few months.
I had 2 instances in 2 matches where the tips gave me some issues. One broke off in a mag causing a feeding issue that cost me a few points on a stage. Then a few weeks later, another tried to double feed or something and bent the tip. I tested that one later and it did not hit the target where others loaded the same would. So, I decided that those red tips are a possible failure factor that I wanted to eliminate.

These Berger Long Range Hybrid Target bullets are open ended, so no tips to worry about.
I have found in my initial measuring that the base to tip lengths have some variance, which is expected. The base to ogive seems within a range of +/- .002", so that is where I will be taking most of my critical measurements going forward. I needed the overall length to start my load with some data provided by a viewer and that got me right in the sweet spot!
I am actually planning to stick with that powder charge. I may do some further seating depth tests later on, but match soon so I am just going to verify this data learned here at distance this coming weekend, then load enough for our local match which should be this 3rd Sunday of November!
Almost here and I am still testing things, lol. As usual, time is against me!

But from what I can see so far, this is looking like it will be a superior option! I am happy that I am making this small change to attempt to improve where I can in my PRS journey!
