Ubisoft is Destroying Splinter Cell and It's Not Even With a New Game

Ubisoft has essentially laid off the entire staff responsible for the abomination that was Star Wars: Outlaws at Massive Entertainment. You would think they would be motivated to recoup some of those losses by rolling out a reliable franchise everyone is begging for, right? Nope.

Splinter Cell has been dormant since 2013 but only now is resurfacing as an animated series on Netflix. Sam Fisher has been supplanted by a strong, independent Black woman and it's been greenlit for a second season despite no one liking or talking about the show. Tencent cannot take over fast enough.
