E-waste chemistry unlocks precious metals from old tech

UK startup DEScycle is dissolving discarded tech to pull out precious and critical metals at room temperature as an alternative to energy-hungry smelting. In collaboration with Gap Group North East, a leading UK electrical waste processor, the startup is set to incorporate its technology into existing waste processing operations. Sean Hogan has more.
