📖 Romans 7: The Struggle Within—Law, Sin, and the Inner Battle ⚔ 💔

Romans 7 dives deep into the believer’s struggle with sin. Paul explains how the law is good, but it exposes the sinful nature. The more we try to do what’s right in our own strength, the more we realize we can’t. The closer we get to Jesus the more we realize that we are sinners.

This chapter is raw, real, and relatable. It speaks to the war inside all of us Christians: the desire to obey God… and the pull of the flesh. But even in the tension, Paul points forward to Jesus, our deliverer.

🔹 Bound to the Law – Like a marriage that ends in death (vv. 1–6)
🔹 The Law and Sin – Exposing the problem, not solving it (vv. 7–13)
🔹 The Inner War – Wanting to do good, but failing (vv. 14–23)
🔹 The Cry for Rescue – “Who will deliver me?” (v. 24)
🔹 The Answer – “Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!” (v. 25)

We see Jesus as the only one who can deliver us from the power of sin and give us victory over the flesh.
