The Spirit of Arrogancy: Arrogancy and Pride are one in the Same

But more so, arrogancy is often communicated, meaning it's brought forth through words
(as the scripture saith)
* In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise. (Pro 10:19 KJV)
* When there are a many words, transgression is unavoidable, But he who restrains his lips is wise. (Pro 10:19 NAS)

What is Arrogancy?

Arrogancy is the state of being proud and/or arrogant; it's when a person has an exaggerated opinion of themselves and/or their importance; believing they are more significant than others, feeling that they are on a "higher" level

Other words that can be used to describe arrogant would be: prideful and/or conceited

Let's see what the scriptures have say in regards to;
* The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. (Pro 8:13 KJV)

* Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.1 (1Sa 2:3 KJV)

One who is arrogant displays pride through words, there demeanor, and/or actions
.... another word to describe those that are arrogant --- is high-minded

Arrogancy is the complete opposite of humility and is oftentimes displayed when one is over-secure (self-righteous and/or self-confident - trusting in their own ability)

There is a thin line between being confident and arrogant
.... the remedy is humility, the humbling of self - or humiliation
now this must be accompanied with trusting in God, giving Him the Glory in all things - always, and not yourself.

If you are content, secure and a doer - you don't have to talk much about what you do - your work speaks for itself

Note:
there is no place for pride & arrogancy in the body of Christ, it's one of the major issues keeping us from uniting, and truly loving one another as we are to. When it goes unchecked - it will lead to Rebellion, an evil-eye, envy, jealousy, and hatred and many other wicked works of the flesh ...

The fruit of pride & arrogancy is looking down and/or coming down on others, often expressed through rudeness (that is being mean). It produces insecurity, doubt, and a lack of confidence in those affected -- making others feel dependant and not able to function without the very people -- who come down on them....

Those operating like this must REPENT that is TURN from this WICKEDNESS for PEACE SAKE and the SAVING of THE SOUL, and for UNITY. Those affected who have been made aware of this, you must find it in your heart to forgive, also repent for placing your trust in others, commit to trust in God, Him & His Word - let your confidence be in Him, seek to Please Him and Not Man! Spend more time with God in His Word and be built up, staying in Humility even when He Exalts You -- always giving Him the Glory!

For,
* A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit. (Pro 29:23 KJV)

To my fellow-laborers: I share a Word with you that I received from the Lord;
- - - - Less talking more Walking
* .... I will shew thee my faith by my works.1 (Jam 2:18 KJV)

Also, be confident in your gifts from God, Use them Faithfully unto His Glory, in Humility -- Be Bold & Stedfast in the Faith Trusting Always in Him!

For,
* In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. .... (Psa 44:8 KJV)
O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. (Psa 34:3 KJV)

SELAH!!!

If you are struggling with pride/arrogance here are some other spirits that may be at work attempting to keep you bound and out of full fellowship with the Lord
* Rebellion, * Evil-eyes, * Cursing/Swearing, * Selfishness, * Self Righteousness, * Frowardness * Bitterness * Hatred * Envy * Jealousy * In-Security

The sins associated with, must be confessed & repented of, these spirits must be rebuked & bound, loose yourself in the mighty name of Our Lord & Savior the Messiah Christ - for He is Our Deliverer!
