Michael is an upcoming American biographical musical drama film directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by John Logan, based on the life of the American singer, songwriter, and dancer Michael Jackson. Jackson is played by his newphew, Jaafar Jackson, in his film debut. The ensemble cast also features Nia Long, Laura Harrier, Juliano Krue Valdi, Miles Teller, and Colman Domingo.

Development began in November 2019, with Logan attached to write the screenplay. Lionsgate announced the film in February 2022, and casting began that June. Fuqua was announced as the director in January 2023, when Jaafar was cast, and further casting took place from January to April 2024. Filming began that January, after being delayed due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike, and ended that May. Additional photography took place in June 2025. Michael is scheduled for release by Lionsgate in the United States on April 24, 2026, and by Universal Pictures internationally.
