Shadow Systems MR920: You could win!

Shadow Systems didn't start out as a gun company. But instead they started out as an accessories company for the Glock line of pistols. Eventually that moved to make there own system in the MR918. Iterations and development led to the 920 series that includes full size, compact and sub compact designs. I have had my own MR920L elite with the titanium nitrided barrel for a little over a year now. I love the look of the titanium nitride, but for us the black nitride has been far and away more popular. One great advantage over glock is a proper set of sights and a good optics gun none of the MOS plate business. I mounted a Meprolight Pro-F on mine as I move to enclosed optics on all my carry guns. If anyone want I will do a review on just that.

The texturing is top notch. The skateboard tape texturing is aggressive enough that sweat and being wet don't affect it much, but it's not tearing flesh away. There are a lot of companies making glock clones. Shadow systems has been one of the more polished examples though if I was to level one criticism at the shadow systems it would be the trigger. It's not terrible and beat the gen 1 through 4 glocks but the gen 5 trigger beats it. That being said it does not affect accuracy in the slightest. Who ever gets this will have a great pistol.
