When Jesus taught us how to pray, He didn’t give us a script — He gave us a relationship.

📖 Matthew 6:9–13 (CSB)

“Our Father in heaven, your name be honored as holy.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.”

This prayer is more than memorization — it’s transformation.
It shifts our focus from our needs to who God is.

🙏 Our Father — Prayer begins in relationship, not performance.
✨ Your Name Be Honored — Start with worship before requests.
👑 Your Kingdom Come — Surrender your will to His.
🍞 Daily Bread — Trust God’s provision one day at a time.
💖 Forgive Us — Walk in grace and extend it to others.
🕊️ Deliver Us — Stay covered and anchored in His protection.

“You received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, ‘Abba, Father!’”

💭 Reflection:

How often do I begin prayer with worship instead of requests?

Am I trusting God for today — or worrying about tomorrow?

Is there someone I need to forgive so my heart can rest in peace?

True prayer doesn’t move God closer to us — it moves us closer to Him. 💛
