This isn't isolated to New York. The UK, Islam’s influence has grown far beyond what anyone expected. 85 Sharia councils have been embedded in community life, handling divorce, inheritance, and family disputes under strict Muslim law. The result is a dramatic uptick in Islamic motivated crimes. In 2023-2024, the UK saw ~2,900 honour killings/abuse and 302 child marriages.

Canada is now standing on the same edge. Our Muslim population has nearly doubled in ten years, from just over 1 million (3.2%) in 2011 to nearly 2 million (4.9%) in 2021, according to Stats Canada. This rapid increase is beginning to shift not just our identity, but is eroding our Judeo-Christian values enshrined in Canadian society and law.

Meanwhile, Ottawa is steam rolling ahead with [Bill C-3](https://www.parl.ca/LegisInfo/en/bill/45-1/c-3) an act that amends to the Citizenship Act to expand citizenship by descent beyond the first generation. It’s being marketed as modernization, but in reality, it broadens who can claim Canadian citizenship and how quickly entire family networks abroad can anchor voting blocs at home.

Is Bill C-3, plus weak border control and loss of identity in the name of "inclusion" creating the perfect scenario for Canada to follow the UK and NY?
