Join me on a crisp fall morning, Thursday, November 6, 2025, as we take a peaceful stroll along the Chicago Riverwalk. The air is cool and refreshing, with a temperature of 45 degrees and a light breeze. We'll walk along the river, taking in the sights and sounds of the city as it wakes up from its slumber. As we head east towards Lake Michigan, we'll pass by iconic landmarks like the Willis Tower, the Franklin Street Bridge, and the Chicago River Bridge, also known as the DuSable Bridge. We'll also see the beautiful architecture of the Civic Opera House, the Boeing Headquarters, and the River Point Park. As we continue our stroll, we'll take in the views of the Chicago River, passing by the Riverwalk's public art installations, including the famous "Ping Tom Memorial Park" and the "Riverwalk Gateway". We'll also see the historic buildings of the Chicago Tribune Tower and the Wrigley Building, as well as the modern skyscrapers of the River North neighborhood. Finally, we'll end our walk at the Lake Michigan shoreline, taking in the stunning views of the city's skyline and the lake's tranquil waters. As we walk, the city comes alive with the sounds of birds chirping, leaves rustling, and the distant hum of traffic. It's a tranquil and serene experience, and I'm excited to share it with you as part of our CityScapeStrolls series. So grab a cup of coffee, sit back, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Chicago Riverwalk on this beautiful fall morning.
