Following my conversation with Shin’nyo, and the revelation of the Kabukimono threat, I knew where I needed to go—not for more information, but for clarity. For strength. For grounding. I returned to the shrine to offer my respects to the ancestors.

Their hand guided me once already. When I cut down Ember, I did so without knowing the full story, but now I see it clearer than ever. Their wisdom whispers through wind and shadow, through instinct and intuition. I do not walk this path alone.

This journey will be long. It will be cruel. My skills, sharpened by my father and by the village, will be tested again and again. But more than skill, they taught me something deeper:
To know what is right.
To fight for it.
Even if it costs me my life.

In this brief silence under the gaze of those who came before me, I feel more prepared.
More certain.
More whole.

I thank you, Great Ancestors, for your presence. For your fire. For your guidance.
