Skopje ‘83 is a first-person shooter/roguelike set in post-apocalyptic Skopje. If you didn’t know (like me before writing this article), Skopje is the capital of North Macedonia. The visuals and gameplay might make you think of Borderlands, but Skopje ‘83 is an open-world roguelike with crafting elements. The goal is to give the player different experiences by changing the enemies and loot each run in this comic-book version of the Balkans.
