How Jesus Lived - Building on the Rock

When Jesus finished teaching on the mountain, He ended with this reminder:
It’s not enough to hear His Word — we have to build our lives on it.

“Everyone who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock…
The rain fell, the rivers rose, and the winds blew and pounded that house. Yet it didn’t collapse, because its foundation was on the rock.”

Both builders heard the same truth.
Both faced the same storm.
But only one stood firm — the one who built on Jesus.

🪨 The Wise Builder — hears and obeys.
🌪️ The Foolish Builder — hears but ignores.
💧 The Storm — tests every foundation.

“For no one can lay any foundation other than what has been laid down. That foundation is Jesus Christ.”

What am I building my life on?

Do my daily choices match what I say I believe?

Is my faith rooted deep enough to withstand the storm?

When your foundation is Jesus, your faith may shake — but it won’t fall. 💛
