Purgatory: A final Pruning?

We know there's both a Heaven and a hell... but if God is just, is there a place for those who are NQR (Not Quite Ready)? In Catholic teaching, both as taught in the Bible and scripturally (Biblical and traditional), "Purgatory is the state where the souls of those who die in a state of grace, but not yet free from all imperfection and earthly possessions (e.g. desires) make expiation, that is, restitution for unforgiven venial sins and mortal sins that have already been forgiven, and by doing so, are purified before they enter heaven.”
