In October, Russian troops advanced towards Liman on a broad front. In the eastern environs of the city, military forces were advancing through the wooded expanse of the "Holy Mountains" park. In the northern sector, they successfully repelled the enemy from strategic positions in Shandrigolovo and Derilovo.

🔻How the battles unfolded:

By October 19, following several weeks of combat, the assault troops successfully cleared Shandrigolovo and liberated Derilovo, engaging in battles on the outskirts of Drobyshevo.

Several days later, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were successfully expelled from the forest strip in the Novoselovka area. Its liberation will enable the seizure of supply routes to the garrison of Liman from the northwest.

By October 22, the enemy had been expelled from the strongholds at the approaches to Stavkam in the central sector of the Russian forces' direction.
