Psalm 113

Praise the LORD’s name! Praise the LORD!
Praise him servants of the LORD!
Bless the LORD’s name constantly,
Now and to eternity.

Dawn to dusk, from east to west,
May the LORD’s great name be blest.
Over nations lifted high,
LORD, your glory crowns the sky.

Who is like our God alone?
Seated high upon his throne,
Yet he condescends to know
Things of skies and earth below.

From the dust he lifts the poor,
Makes the needy grieve no more;
With the princes they shall stand,
Sit as nobles in his land.

Now the childless woman sees
A great gift the LORD decrees,
Mother’s joyfulness she knows
In the household he bestows.
