This weeks #bookoftheweek is Whack Job: A History of Axe Murder by Rachel McCarthy James
This is a politically snarky book which did not need to be and while I really wanted to like it, I did not. It is literally impossible for academics to NOT moose their own political ideology all over ancient history and pretend like they are somehow relevant to ancient history.

Gin
rum
Pineapple Juice
Tequila
Triple Sec
Vodka
amaretto almond liqueur (alt: almond liqueur)
grenadine syrup
southern comfort peach liqueur (alt: peach liqueur)
1 splash of 7-up soda (alt: sprite)

Mix all in glass with ice and enjoy. Tastes a lot like Hawaiian Punch.
