In this heartbreaking moment captured on video, farm spokesperson Katie Pasitney confronts RCMP officers after enduring a night of relentless gunfire and screams during the CFIA-ordered cull of nearly 400 healthy ostriches.

“You heard torture all night — torture,” Katie cries. “And we have a cop in our car looking at us, laughing and smiling.”

Supporter Darsey Media confirms the disturbing behavior: “All morning long. I’ve got pictures of it too.”

The emotional exchange occurred the morning after the cull, while families and supporters stood outside the farm gates amid grief, disbelief, and trauma.
