THIS TEACHING IS HARD

Charlie Kirk; like Jesus, Charlie was killed for speaking the unvarnishedtruth. And, both did it with love. And, both let people walkaway and continue to believe what they wanted to believe. They never said, “Wait,come back; this is what I really mean,” and give some watered-down explanation. There are a lot of people who believe in God, but how many really obeyGod? The hardest words to utter and keep are, “Jesus I trust in you.” We areafraid of what He might require of us. We don’t want Him telling us what to do.We like to pick and choose the parts of our faith life. Sometimes, Jesus' teachings were hard for the disciples to swallow, and hard for us today. But we must remember, Jesus ALWAYS spoke the truth.
