The return of the Ronkonkoma Z trains on the Long Island Railroad!

Recorded November 2025. I finally got to check out the wacky service change of the Ronkonkoma "Z" service on the Long Island Railroad after not being able to do so in the past! Seeing diesel trains on the Ronkonkoma Branch is always rare and this was a treat! I have an explanation of how the Ronkonkoma Z works in this video. Me and Will were originally going to spend most the afternoon railfanning this change. However, some friends of ours ended up being around last minute and we wanted to go hangout with them since we were already out there! So this ended up being a railfan short. However, we still got what we needed to see between the Ronkonkoma Branch trains operating on the Central Branch as well as seeing diesel trains on the Ronkonkoma Branch when they are normally electric trains.
