CS # 69 Trouble makers Bowery Boys

The story begins with Slip Mahoney (Leo Gorcey) and Sach Jones (Huntz Hall) running a "telescope for hire" business on the sidewalk. Their moneymaking scheme takes an unexpected turn when Sach uses the telescope to peer into a distant hotel room and witnesses a murder. Slip confirms the crime with a look of his own.
The boys immediately contact their friend, Officer Gabe Moreno, but when they all arrive at the hotel room, the body has vanished. This lands Gabe in hot water with his superiors. Eager to solve the mystery and clear Gabe's name, Slip and Sach take jobs as bellhops at the hotel to investigate.
