Predator: Badlands SURPASSES Early Projections | It Still NEEDS a Strong Hold

Predator: Badlands had a strong opening weekend at the box office, bringing in more than any of the other Predator films during their opening weekends.

The box office results blew past expectations; however, it still has some way to go in order to reach profitability. The reported budget was around $100 million which means it would need to make at least $250 million to break even. An $80 million opening weekend is a good start, but past Predator movies generated around half of their revenue during their opening weekends. For Predator: Badlands to reach profitability it needs to have a strong hold and perhaps the strong word of mouth would do that.
