Garuda - The Devourer of Serpents

In the old stories of India, power was not given —
it was won through struggle, sacrifice, and devotion.

Garuda was born into bondage,
his mother held captive,
his freedom denied.

To save her, he faced trials no mortal could endure.
He crossed blazing heavens,
fought gods and serpents,
and claimed the amṛta, the nectar of immortality —
not for glory,
but for love.

From that day, he became the terror of serpents,
the great winged guardian,
mount of Vishnu,
protector of the righteous.

His lesson is not conquest.
It is loyalty —
a devotion so strong that even the gods bowed to it.

Power without love is empty.
Love without strength is helpless.
But together — they become destiny.
