Daily Tunes: The Dukes of Hazzard Theme

For today's daily tune I'm playing and singing a segment of Waylon Jennings' "Good Ol' Boys" with my friend Nate Howell.
I was at his studio recording some banjo tracks and told him we should record a song for one of these daily tune vids. He picked this one. Great choice !

"Theme from The Dukes of Hazzard (Good Ol' Boys)" is the opening theme song for the American action-comedy television series The Dukes of Hazzard, which aired on CBS from January 26, 1979, to February 8, 1985. Written and performed by country music singer Waylon Jennings, the track also features Jennings as the show's narrator and "balladeer." The song was released as a single in August 1980 by RCA Records, backed with "It's Alright," and included on Jennings' album Music Man (1980).
Musically, it is an uptempo country rock song in the key of A major, characterized by twangy guitar riffs, driving rhythm, and Jennings' distinctive baritone voice.
