Judge in Comey Case to Review Grand Jury Material and Proceedings

We are at a critical juncture in United States v. James Comey.

Some weeks ago, a magistrate judge (Fitzpatrick) was brought in to handle proceedings concerning the implementation of a filter protocol, disclosure of grand jury materials, disclosure of Arctic Haze evidence, and a potential privilege spill.

Depending on what he finds in his review of these matters, the grand jury materials (transcripts, documents, audio, etc.) could be disclosed to the defense, and within them a basis may be developed for a new motion to dismiss.
