Home in Indiana, 1944

A troubled boy is sent to live with his aunt and uncle in Indiana. His love of horses and his fondness for a young filly that he intends to race make life bearable even though he is first unhappy with the arrangement. Additionally, he falls in love with tomboyish Char, who shares his passion for horses.
