A brazen burglar has been caught on CCTV trying to break into a house - using a garden fork.

Jason Pitt, who has since been jailed, spotted in the back garden of the property looking for a way to get in, by jabbing the door with the gardening tool.

He then spotted a garden fork propped up against a wheelie bin and used it to prise open a window at the house in Ramsgate, Kent, last July.
