Sky High Beef Prices - Why?

Wednesday 11.12.25 at 9am, we'll be joined by no less than TWO cattle ranchers - Trent Loos; a 6th generation rancher from central Nebraska -and John(Boy) Stanley; an Oklahoma rancher. We'll be talking about why beef is so high in price.

Many cattle ranchers are unhappy that President Trump promised to quadruple the amount of beef imported from Argentina (along with a 40 million dollar bailout package) in October.

Though Trump campaigned on an unapologetic "America First" slogan, the idea that America would import Argentinian beef gut-punched American ranchers pretty hard.

We'll talk to these two beef producers about the ins and outs of state and federal policy, and the mechanics of beef production in America currently, that is causing beef prices to have risen at least 15% over last year.
