No, Charlie Kirk Wasn’t Converting to Catholicism: Setting the Record Straight

Erika Kirk’s Biblein365 program links to anti-Catholic commentary. In the months leading up to his death, Charlie reiterated on several occasions his major theological disputes with Catholicism. One of the last things he said in the minutes before his death was that he’s an evangelical.

He loved and respected Catholics and emphasized our agreements (Jesus Christ as Lord) rather than our disagreements.

But when Candace tells you he was very close to becoming Catholic, she’s selectively presenting evidence—most of which is hearsay. And she’s leaving out all the inconvenient facts.

This isn’t about hating on Catholics. It’s about telling the truth and respecting Charlie who can no longer speak for himself and also his wife who’s choosing right now to not speak on very much. #candaceowens #charliekirk #catholic
