I just read a powerful message from Sandra, a former coworker I worked beside at Terrence Cardinal Cooke Healthcare Center, back when we were both proud 1199 union delegates. Over 15 years have passed, yet her heart for service remains unshaken.

After spending a week in Jamaica 🇯🇲 without light or water, what was meant to be rest became a triumph of survival. Still, Sandra is ready to return — to heal, to rebuild, to serve. That’s true strength.
