DIVORCE IS DEATH

The principle of marriage that God is trying to make us understand is that separating marriage is death. It might not be physical death immediately, but spiritual death, just like what happened in the Garden of Eden. God said, The day you eat this fruit, you shall surely die. When Adam and Eve ate the fruit, they were still alive physically. They only saw that they were naked, but did they die? They were dead spiritually, and the physical death followed later.
Therefore, if you go into divorce, when you divorce your spouse, you are dead before God, and the physical death, which is death in eternal hell, will come later. It will surely come just the way it came with Adam and Eve. You cannot break the law of the indivisibility of one flesh in marriage and live. You cannot divide yourself into two and be alive.
