Hi-Point C9 Field Strip (Disassembly for Cleaning)

How to field strip a Hi-Point C9 pistol for cleaning. The Hi-Point C9 is significantly more difficult to field strip or disassemble than most semi-automatic handguns.

This is because you must remove a roll pin to disassemble the slide from the frame. This requires a pin punch and a hammer. It is not a big deal; it is just way more work than 99% of handguns out there.
