If you believe that emissions matter, the emissions of small countries are so insignificant compared to China, Russia, US and India that the effect of Net-Zero policy, could have no noticeable effect on global temperature and climate. Politicians need to understand that their responsibility is to convince people that Net-Zero policy is not needed and indeed conflicts with the people's desire for a reasonable standard of living, if they profess to be concerned about emissions. It would be possible to get out of Net-Zero while staying in Paris and this would help to maintain good trade relationships, when dealing with those who are dedicated to Anthroclimatism. Under Paris, the pressure would be off and it would be possible to use fossil fuels at the level where energy prices could return to their previous lower levels. Paris has voluntary targets and has no more imposing targets until very late in the century. As people realize that Anthroclimatism is a hoax, there will be less need to remain in Paris either.
